Having a Funeral at Christ Church
Death is a part of the human existence and although it can be a sad time, it is also a time for reflection on the life of the deceased and a celebration of that person's life here on earth. The Christian belief is that our earthly life is a preparation for our joining Christ in Heaven - the words and actions all speak of a loving God and the preciousness to Him of every human being.
At Christ Church, we take the service of funerals very seriously and will do what we can to provide comfort to the family in their hour of need.

Christ Church has a fine pipe organ and organists. It is normal to have two or three hymns included in the ceremony but this is not necessary. The Church uses 'The New English Hymnal' and we can provide you with hymn suggestions if needed.
